How GP Practices work due to Covid-19
COVID-19 BOOSTER VACCINE
Please do not phone your GP to ask about COVID booster vaccinations. GPs are not offering COVID boosters - if you are eligible, you will receive an appointment in the post. You can check your invite status by clicking here.
Here is what you need to know about who is getting a COVID booster vaccination, how you will get an appointment, where you will get it and how to reschedule it.
A COVID-19 spring booster dose is being offered to adults aged 75 years and over, residents in care homes for older adults and people aged 12 years and over with a weakened immune system. Appointment letters will be sent to those who are eligible. There is no drop-in available for the spring booster at this time. Please visit www.nhsinform.scot/covid19vaccinebooster for more information.
Over 16s
If you are aged 16 or over and it has been 12 weeks since your second vaccination, you can book an appointment for your booster at www.nhsinform.scot/vaccinebooking or 0800 030 8013, or visit your nearest drop-in centre.
Serving You
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription.
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
Access
The health centre is situated on one level and has easy access for the disabled. There are no steps for wheelchair users to negotiate, inside or outside the building.
